This project was a solo project intended to teach students how to efficiently and effectively collect data on existing urban objects and design interventions around them. For my project, I focused on whether bike racks were adequately serving the cyclist community in Ann Arbor. By collecting data on over 100 bike racks in the downtown area and surveying 40 local cyclists in Ann Arbor, I created an interface with a filter system that shows cyclists where their most desired bike racks are, depending on their needs.
